The GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe resurfaces with its late 2000s aesthetic as a nod to our storied GEL-KAYANO™ series. Reinterpreting the shoe's performance capabilities with updated materials and componentry, this version became the first iteration in the sneaker's lineage to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. Mirroring the original midsole tooling with GEL™ technology cushioning, this shoe also improves the fit of the upper while retaining its layered leather and mesh construction from 2008.
ASICS is teaming up with Kiko Kostadinov Studios yet again to create the HS4-GEL-SONOMA 15-50 GTX sneaker. Reconnecting with the Japanese sneaker brand’s trail-running roots, the uppers lend inspiration from the 15-50 cross-country spike. Only this time, it’s reworked with a GORE-TEX membrane and covered in a vibrant blue colour palette reminiscent of seascapes and scenic landscapes. The outsole, however, is detailed with the same construction as the GEL-SONOMA and promises both cushioning and traction with every stride.
The GEL-SONOMA™ 15-50 sneaker is rooted in the concept of outdoor exploration.
The design pays homage to Japan's thorough recycling processes that help the country maintain a clean environment.
Meanwhile, the tooling uses components from the first two GEL-SONOMA™ trail shoes. From everyday foot traffic to hiking rocky hillsides, these features create advanced cushioning and traction in various surroundings.
